A Peaceful Night

Their hands quiet my fight
Beautiful singing delivers me this night
What joy, I remember in my life
Graces every moment of my flight

Their voices shall echo for a thousand years
And I hope, the memory of my life will calm their tears
I’ve held their faces all my days
Proudly, watching them grow from tender age

I shall bless them now, from my home
Free of pain, and my torn body peacefully gone
I will whisper a million loves into their hearts
And be with them, all their days, though apart

And even now my love will not hide
Though I have left them
If they look to the sky
Their hearts are sure to mend
An angel now, I did not bid goodbye
And I hope, they speak to me again
